Model answer
Don't force a single group. Express informed openness: you've researched several groups, are genuinely curious about [name one or two] for specific reasons, but value starting as a generalist because broad early exposure helps you find the best long-term fit and makes you a more versatile banker. Show you understand the firm's group landscape and have real interests, while signaling flexibility. The test is that you've thought about it seriously and aren't picking a group at random or claiming a fake passion.
