Terms of Service

1. Who may use the Service

You must be at least 16 years old (or the age of digital consent in your jurisdiction) and able to form a binding contract to use WACC Buddy.

You are responsible for the activity that happens under your account and for keeping your credentials secure.

2. The Service

WACC Buddy provides educational flashcards and spaced-repetition study tools for investment-banking interview preparation. Content is for educational purposes only and is not financial, investment, legal, or career advice.

We work to keep the content accurate, but we make no guarantee that it is complete, current, or suited to any particular interview or employer.

3. Accounts and authentication

Authentication is provided via email/password and Google sign-in through our infrastructure provider. You agree to provide accurate information and to notify us of any unauthorized use of your account.

4. Subscriptions and payments

Paid plans are billed on a recurring basis through our payment processor, Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method automatically on each renewal until you cancel.

You can cancel anytime from your account's billing portal; your subscription stops renewing and you keep access through the end of the period you have already paid for.

Because WACC Buddy is a digital product delivered instantly, payments are non-refundable except where a refund is required by law.

Prices may change; we will give reasonable notice before a change affects your renewal.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to copy, redistribute, resell, scrape, or create derivative works from the question bank, and not to share your account to circumvent paid access. The content and software are protected by intellectual-property laws.

6. Intellectual property

We and our licensors own the Service, including the question bank, software, and branding. We grant you a limited, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service for your personal interview preparation.

7. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The Service is provided 'as is' without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant that using WACC Buddy will result in any particular interview outcome or job offer.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms. You may stop using the Service at any time and delete your account.

9. Changes and contact

We may update these Terms; material changes will be notified through the Service or by email. Continued use after changes means you accept them.
